Powerful Motor
Miele vacuum cleaner motors have an output
of 1100 watts, making them among the most
powerful available. This suction power
enables the vacuum to easily pick up dirt
from the smooth floor surfaces and lift up
ingrained particles between carpet fibers. |

Filtration System
Our triple filtration system consists of a
state-of-the-art dust bag, motor compartment
filter and exhaust filter. The exhaust
filter is situated after the vacuum's motor
so it captures any microscopic particles
generated by the motor's operation. Room air
is also 100% particle-free after vacuuming
with a Miele.

Filter Options
Miele vacuum cleaners can be fitted with a
choice of three different filters to suit
the filtration level you require. The Super
Air Clean filter is standard with all S514
models with optional usage of the Active Air
Clean or Active H.E.P.A. filters. The Active
H.E.P.A. is standard on the S558 and S658
models. |

All Wheel Drive
The undercarriage has three or four high
quality, steel mounted smooth running
castors, making the vacuum extremely stable
and very easy to maneuver around obstacles.
The vacuums can also sit upright, making
them very convenient for use on the stairs.

Clip System
Each section of the wand, the hand piece and
the floor tool is firmly connected by
Miele's unique locking system and cannot,
therefore, separate unexpectedly. Each piece
can be easily released by depressing the
latch.

Storage Bracket
A special bracket on the side of the vacuum
will hold the wand and the floor tool firmly
in place for tidy storage and easy of
carrying. |

Park System
To store the wand in an upright position if
you need a break during cleaning, slot the
floor tool into the clip at the rear of the
vacuum. Some models will switch off when the
floor tool is slotted into the clip and
start again when the floor tool is removed. |

Telescopic Wand
Having the ability to extend and retract the
wand enables users of all heights to operate
the vacuum without the threat of back pain.
Additionally, the quick adjusting wand
allows for easy cleaning of lower base
boards, high crown moldings and a variety of
other activities. |

Bumper Strip
A bumper strip encompasses the entire vacuum
cleaner canister to prevent any damage to
furniture and the vacuum itself. It also
enhances the units ability to bump easily
around corners and door jams. |
